hahaha!!! I was in a concert last night and went home mga hapit na 12. (One of those rare occassions…) I finally saw Cindy Kurleto (hottie!) and Kitchie Nadal (cutie!) in person… hahaha! I even high-fived KC Montero and got my share of seconds in national television. (Look Ma, I’m on TV!!! hekhekerz…) But the band I was actually looking forward to was PAROKYA NI EDGAR!!! Whooo!!! Maayo kaayo mudala ang banda, jamming kaayo si Chito Miranda (yup. yup.) Honestly, I stood there for more than 7 hours. (kapoy! pero it was worth it…) Atleast naka sabay na gyud ko sa YES YES SHOW sa Parokya nga gi-fast track ni Chito ug rap (tinghaha gyud ang mga tao tupad nako… hekhekerz…) pero wa nako na dala ang FIRST DAY FUNK uy!!! Kusog ra kaayo ug wa pa kaayo ko kagetz sa lyrics…
Anyways, when I first saw the video of FIRST DAY FUNK, it reminded me of school. (lingaw kaayo ang video… hekhekerz…) so that’s why I decided to answer this survey para marest ako-ang soul… For those who love or hate this portion, thanks for reading it. Anyways, we had our last game pagSaturday and it ended up in a tie. <Overtimes aren’t allowed>

Here’s an excerpt from that game:

    Fresh from a victory over the BOMBS, the Jeng team faced a dangerous running team from the other bracket. Today was the day they faced the ABC team.Determined to have a streak going in the tournament and knowing that this was the last game they would play, the JENG team quickly started its scoring run with an exhibition trick shot by flashy guard, Gus Alvero. After that overwhelming play by Gus, the crowd roared and baptized him with the monicker, "IDOL." Everytime he touched the ball, the crowd expected something jaw-dropping. And sure enough the off guard from Leyte strutted his magical moves all throughout the game to the delight of the crowd. Joshua tabasa, the smallest man on court showed the real meaning of "SMALL BUT TERRIBLE" by scoring at will even at the paint along with the big trees. Freshman Center, Ernesto Hernandez did not disappoint as he harbored clutch rebounds and immediately passing it to the guards for the running game, the JENG team is known for. These three rookies were not to be taken lightly!

Adding to the firepower were veteran forwards, Francis Limtingco and Nino Apuda both from Saint Louis School in nearby Mandaue City. "They were the ones who gave us insight and guidance during the season.", Gus remarked in a post-tournament interview. "Without these two seasoned veterans, the JENG team would not be the crowdfavorites we are deemed to be today."
